The Night of the Refugee
- Date: 17 June
On the weekend of June 17 and 18, 2023, the Night of Refugees will take place. By completing a walking route, thousands of participants show massive solidarity with all those millions of people fleeing war and violence and raise money for emergency relief.
Participants can sign up for a 10, 20 or 40 km route in the city of their choice. Great news: the 40 km night routes will run from city to city again this year! See which routes you can run with at this link!
In all starting cities there will also be a 10 and 20 km evening route. Especially schools and companies are cordially invited.
And for all the early birds something very special is being organized this year: a morning route on Sunday! Early in the morning, these participants will join the 40 km runners at rest location 2 or 3. Because these are test routes, a limited number of people can register for this.
This year, extra attention will be paid to unique experiences along the route that will surprise and make participants think. Along the way, for example, they will discover the stories of our inspiring Night Ambassadors. A warm welcome awaits them at the finish, where friends and family are also welcome.
In short, it promises to be a wonderful Night where together we have one goal in mind: to make a difference for people on the run, anywhere in the world.
