Zuiderpark Theater

The Zuiderparktheater is an open-air theatre in a green oasis of the Zuiderpark. The theatre is located in the largest district of The Hague: Escamp. In the summer there is plenty to do in and around our theatre. You can go to a music performance or theatre performance and follow workshops or sports lessons.

The Zuiderparktheater develops these activities together with social and cultural institutions. In doing so, we listen carefully to the needs and wants from you to make the audience part of what you want to see and experience in the theatre. With a team of about 10 professionals and more than 80 volunteers, we convert these wishes into a beautiful and meaningful program. Not only do we offer activities in our theatre, the Zuiderparktheater also goes into the local neighbourhood. With this we try to introduce theatre to different audience groups – for whom it is not self-evident to go to the theatre – in an accessible way.
